There is nothing remarkable about telling what day it is. This is why a standard calendar tool will not impress you with its capabilities, but Moo Calendar is beyond standard. It makes it possible to organize your meetings and set up reminders, without any difficulties. You can also import local or remote calendars, as well as previously created appointments and tasks. There is much more you can do with Moo Calendar, without any difficulties.

The application can be downloaded and installed rapidly, due to its lightweight setup package. It is compatible with most Windows platforms and its system requirements are not high.

The calendar itself is displayed on the largest portion of the application's interface. You can use a series of options, located on the toolbar, to switch between a day view, week or month view. A "to do" list can be found on the right side of the interface and you may add new tasks by typing them and hitting the Enter key. It is also possible to schedule appointments by selecting a date and clicking an option on the toolbar. A settings window will show up, where you can name the event, add a description, set its priority, activate an alarm and more.

The software lets you add new calendars and organize them in a tree structure, on the left side of the main window. You can insert local calendars, from .ics files on your hard drive, personal or public Google calendars and more. You will have to make a few configurations, when adding a calendar, but a wizard will guide you all the way. First, you need to select what type of calendar to add, then select an .ics file, log into an account or perform other actions, depending on what calendar you select.

Although they are displayed as separate items in a tree menu, you will not have to switch from one calendar to another. The software will display the same calendar, but it will add any appointments and tasks that are previously created on the imported calendar. If you add new items on a remote calendar, you can synchronize it with Moo Calendar, by clicking an option on the toolbar.

Pros

Moo Calendar lets you set up appointments and create tasks lists. It lets you import other calendars and synchronize them as well. The interface has a simple design, so it can be used by any user, regardless of experience.

Cons

It is not possible to set up reminders for the created tasks. With its flexible features and easy to understand interface, Moo Calendar lets you organize your meetings and tasks with minimum effort.
